PFA's Summer Catching Training Program
Transform your catching skills this summer. Train 5 days a week with top collegiate coaches, catch live pitchers,
and refine your skills with live AB’s.
PROGRAM DETAILS

High School (8-12th grade) and College
-
5 days a week of personalized, individualized catcher training (Mondays -Fridays) including receiving, blocking and footwork

Recommended 8-12 weeks, between June 2 – August 22

Minimum of 7 weeks recommended for growth. Flat fee for complete program no matter the weeks attending.

Athletes join just after the school year ends. Flexible on start and end dates and travel tournaments/ showcases

Late-summer conflicts: we'll shift your athlete to an afternoon/evening slot to ensure athletes finish strong

Each athlete receives a tailored summer program, written by PFA Coaches, specific to strength, weaknesses and goals

Baseline assessments, metrics and ongoing evaluations for throwing and strength as well as physical therapy. Baseline assessments will take place before program starts.

Lock in on what you can control and make gains in strength, explosiveness, agility. Focus on making gains before your upcoming high school season and make the jump, only you can decide to go all in on offseason gains. Show up to practices in a couple months stronger, quicker, tougher.
Clarification on our Summer Training Programs:
Comprehensive Athlete Assessment
Every player receives a personalized evaluation — including motion capture, video analysis, and weight room testing — to identify strengths and target areas for improvement. This ensures customized throwing, hitting, catching and strength programs tailored to each athlete.
Skill-Based Group Training
Training begins at 8 AM in small, rotating groups organized by skill level. Groups are finalized through pre-program evaluations in late May. Expect 2.5–3 hours of daily training, including skills work and weightlifting.
Flexible, Player-Focused Scheduling
Flat-rate pricing covers the entire program, regardless of how many weeks your athlete attends (minimum 8 weeks recommended for best results). We accommodate travel and tournament absences with remote training access and customized off-site workouts.
Two-Way Upgrade Optional
If you would like to focus on two-way training, such as Catching & Hitting, we will tailor your summer program accordingly. Expect one additional hour for the second programming daily.
